FAQs
What is Pilates
Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise designed to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment, core stability, and flexibility.
Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, it focuses on controlled, precise movements rather than high-intensity repetitions. Most exercises are performed either on a floor mat or using specialized resistance equipment like the Reformer.

What is Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy (often called OT) is a healthcare profession that helps people of all ages overcome physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges so they can participate fully in their daily activities.
In the medical world, “occupations” aren’t just jobs—they are any daily task that occupies your time, from getting dressed and cooking to playing, writing, or driving. An occupational therapist looks at why a person is struggling with a specific task and modifies the activity, teaches new strategies, or adjusts the environment to make it easier.
I have an injury.
Safety is the top priority. I work with individuals navigating or recovering from injuries, but I do require a few protocols before we get started.
Important Reminder: Please do not try to “push through” pain. The goal is to aid your recovery and keep you moving safely, not to worsen an existing injury.
